You & You Alone

The following is a poem I found in an old beat up patience strong book, called “The harvest of dreams” and once upon a time I made the mighty mistake of putting it in a Valentines Day card! Today I’ve decided to relive that mistake

You & You Alone.
You and you alone dwell in my heart and reign supreme.
You are the beginning and end of every dream…
This is heaven; there could be no other road for me.
You’re my star of fate and fortune; you’re my destiny.
Now the secret has been told; the truth I have confessed.
In the hollow of your hand my happiness will rest…
Now you beyond all doubt, that I am all your own.
Now you know it’s you I love.
It’s you and you alone.
